One down----One to go!

Alex had his graduation today for his first year of pre-school!  He even got to wear his own little gown.
He received an accomplishment award for being able to write his own first and last name and his own address.  He was very excited!  They planned a cute little program, but he kept asking me "Mom, when are we eating the cake?"  Like mother, like son---I guess.

He loves his teacher.  Mrs. Stewart.

oops!  I can't turn the darn picture!
Now, he has one more year of pre-school to go!  Yea!  It will probably kill me when he goes to Kindergarten and leaves me all day.  They go full day here for kindergarten.  Half day is not an option.  We might have to move by then.

WHAT A GREAT MUFFIN WEEK!

Most of you know how much I enjoy eating! So, this week was better than ever because.... I was invited on Wednesday with Alex to go to pre-school and have a Mom and Muffin day.  It was very yummy!  And he made me a sweet Mother's day card!   Then, on Friday I was invited by Rylee to go to her class and have another Mom and Muffin day.Very yummy once again and she made me lots of cute cards and even a portrait of myself.  I was not invited by Tate for Mom and Muffin day, but that didn't stop me from having a muffin moment with him.  We went and bought our own Muffins and enjoyed eating it at home.   Also, today for Mother's Day, my sweet kids made me breakfast in bread.  It was frootloops, a banana, a glass of orange juice and , of course, another muffin!  I love those kids and am so grateful to be THEIR Mom.  They bring so much love and happiness into our home.

This is Alex's cute card.  The black bug looking image on the left is his drawing of me!
This is Rylee's drawing of me

We tried to take our own picture quietly at Rylee's class while her peers were taking turns talking about their Mom's in front of the class.  It didn't work out so well.
So, Alex took one of  me and Rylee

And Rylee took one of me and Alex

Of course, I wouldn't  be able to have all these muffin moments and all others if if weren't for my great husband.  He is the foundation of our family!  I love my husband and my kids.  So, heres to a Happy Mothers day week!

If  you look close you can  even see the muffin top growing over the top of my skirt!  I guess I better not repeat the muffin week. OOPS!

And Happy Mother's Day to the best Mom ever!  I LOVE YOU MOM!

And to my most favorite Most favorite Mother-in-law! We love you!

FINALLY!!!!! DON'T FALL OVER!!!!

Can you believe that I have actually started a blog?  My friends in Colorado have been trying to get me to do this for a VERY LONG TIME!  Thanks to my new friends Jenny and Cami who have come over and walked me through this step by step, I am finally learning.  Hopefully, I can figure out what I am doing and this will be a good way to keep in touch with all my friends and family that we love and miss so much.  We have wonderful memories of our great life in Colorado and now we are excited to create new memories in Georgia.  Here's home......
Many of you already know about the Trees causing me to feel very confined, but many have promised that I will love them in the Spring.  I am starting to appreciate them more and more.  The spring is beautiful here.  I love just looking up the street and  guess what... the TREES are starting to grow on me!!!!

We do miss our WONDERFUL WEST, but hope that we end up loving the South. I don't have an adjective for the South yet. maybe "really far away South," or "tons of trees South," or maybe "lots's of great adventures ahead South."    Please keep in contact because we are always thinking of those we love from the past and the present.
